Who:      Any DeKalb Area USBC member that has bowled at least 12 games in a league during the 2011-12 Season.  See Rule #7 for Average information
Where:  Four Seasons Sports, 1745 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore IL  60178
When:  Saturdays, January 21st and January 28th, 2012 
             Sundays, January 22nd and January 29th, 2012 
 
              Squad Times are Noon and 4pm each day.
 
Advanced Reservation Fee:  $20/per person per event,
                                               $10 All Events (Optional)
 
For entries received after 1/13/12:  Additional $5 per event per person 
 
Print out your entry form (PDF) and turn it in at Four Seasons or Mardi Gras Lanes today!!  Get yours in today to get your first squad choice!!  Blank entries are available at the centers also.

 

Bowlers In the News
 

Al Cagle, from the Business & Professional league at Mardi Gras Lanes, on 1/10/12, bowled his first career 300 game.  He threw perfection with a Ebonite Mission 2.0 bowling ball.  Al has consistently averaged over 200 in the league for the past 10 years and is currently averaging a 207.  Congratulations, Al, on reaching perfection!

     
 

Congrats to Sean Wilson of the DeKalb Elks league at Mardi Gras Lanes.  On Wednesday, 10/5/11, Sean bowled a 275, 248, and a 277 with his Columbia Freeze for an 800 series.   Sean -- best of luck to you in 2012!!

Congrats to Anthony Jovanovich! Anthony bowled a 300 on Tuesday, 12/13/11 and a 747 series during the B&P league at Mardi Gras Lanes.  Anthony bowled perfection with his Storm Virtual Energy bowling ball and is averaging a 223 in the Business and Professional Bowling league this year.  He also bowls on Thursday in Miller Lite Phil Johnson Classic league.

     
 

If you live on Greenwood Acres Drive in DeKalb, a 300 game could be in your future.  Steve Maciejewski, during the Friday Night Mixed League at Four Seasons Sports bowled a 300 on 12/23/11.  Steve bowled perfection with his Ebonite Mission 2.0.  Steve is a bowler in the Friday night league at Four Seasons Sports where he is averaging a 219 so far this season.  He also bowls in the Bud Light Thursday night league at Mardi Gras Lanes.  This is Steve's 3rd career 300 game.  Steve also happens to be the 3rd person in the past 2 months that has bowled perfection who lives on Greenwood Acres Drive. Congrats to Steve!!

     
 

300 Alert -- 2012!!  Michael Porter, of the B&P league at Mardi Gras Lanes, shot a 300 on 1/3/12 for the associations first 300 in 2012.  Michael bowled perfection on lanes 21-22 with his RotoGrip Grand Illusion and shot a 714 Series for the night.  Michael is averaging a 199 for the season.  Congrats to Michael!!

Perfection is reached once again by Jerry Belluzzi!!  On 12/08/11, Jerry started his night off with a 300 game in the Bud Light Thursday night league at Mardi Gras Lanes.  Jerry threw his 18th career perfect game with a Ebonite Mission X.  Jerry bowls in multiple leagues in the association.  When he is not bowling, you can find Jerry working at his Pro Shop located at Mardi Gras Lanes.    Keep on Striking Jerry!!

     
Rick Drake  

Congratulations to Rick Drake, of the Friday Night Mixed league held at Mardi Gras Lanes, who shot a 300 game on 11/04/11. Rick shot his first 300 game with a Motiv Raptor ball. Rick is averaging a 221 this season in the league.

     
   

800 ALERT!! On Friday, 11/11/11, Joe Barrile, of the Four Seasons Sports Friday Night Mixers league, bowled a 237, 275 and a 290 game for an 802 series. This was Joe’s first career 800 series which was shot with a Columbia Action bowling ball. Joe is a career 200 average bowler who bowls in multiple leagues this year.

DAUSBC would like to extend congratulations to Joshua Thompson of Mardi Gras Lanes DeKalb Elks league. Joshua bowled a 300 game on November 17th along with a 237 and a 247 for a 784 series. A Hammer Jigsaw Corner was used to bowl the perfect game. Josh is averaging a 214 in the league this season.

     
Peggy Belluzzi  

Congrats to Peggy Belluzzi!! On Sunday, 11/20/11, during the 2011 DAUSBC Mixed Doubles tournament held at Mardi Gras Lanes, Peggy reaches perfection. This was Peggy’s first career sanctioned 300 game which was bowled with a Brunswick C-System Ultimax. Peggy was using the ball which was drilled by her husband, Jerry Belluzzi, of Jerry Belluzzi’s Pro Shop, for only the second time. Peggy, bowling with her husband, teamed up in the tournament to score a 1439 to place 3rd in the doubles tournament. Peggy is an active bowler in Four Seasons Sports Friday Night Mixers league in which she currently holds a 187 average.

RICKER ROLLS HIS SECOND 300 OF SEASON!!

Congrats to Austin Ricker who shot his second 300 of the season Tuesday night, 10/18/11, during the Business and Professional league.  Keep them coming Austin!!

Jeremy Wilkerson has rolled perfection again.  On 10/17/11 during the Monday University Plaza league at Mardi Gras Lanes, Jeremy bowled a 266, 215 and a 300 for a 781 Series.  This is Jeremy's second 300 game in the past two months and third since February.   Keep on striking Jeremy!!

Wilkerson is on Fire!

Jeremy Wilkerson, who bowled his first career, sanctioned 300 game this past February, started the 2011-2012 season on fire. On 9/12/11, during Jeremy’s evening in the University Plaza league at Mardi Gras Lanes, he bowled a 255, 300, and a 245 for an 800 series.   This was Jeremy’s first sanctioned 800 series which was shot with a RotoGrip Nomad. Jeremy bowls regular in the University Plaza league, the DeKalb Elks league, and the Saturday Night Live league at Mardi Gras Lanes. Jeremy also subs in the Friday Night Mixed league at Four Seasons Sports.

Ricker is Rolling!!

Austin Ricker, a Sycamore High School Boy’s Bowling team alum and a recent Sycamore graduate, has become a member of the DAUSBC Association for the 2011-2012 season. He started his DAUSBC career and the 2011-12 season in bowling form, bowling a 300 and a 750 series on 9/15/11 during the Thursday Bud Light league at Mardi Gras Lanes. Austin threw a Roto Grip Cell bowling ball during his game of perfection. Austin is a member of four leagues which includes the Business and Professional League and the Bud Light League at Mardi Gras Lanes along with the Wednesday Night Business league and Friday Night Mixers at Four Seasons Sports.   Austin averaged a 218 last season at Four Seasons Sports in the Champs in the Midst Youth League. The association would like to congratulate Austin on his recent success and wish him the best during his DAUSBC career!

     
 

Bagby reaches perfection!

Gordon Bagby, bowling in the Monday Miller Lite Trio at Mardi Gras Lanes on 8/8/11, bowled perfection. He combined the game with a 224 and 191 for a 715 series. The 300 game was thrown with a Motiv Cruel. For the 2011 – 2012 season, Gordon is a member of the University Plaza league, the Miller Lite Phil Johnson Classic league, and the Friday Night Mixed league. Gordon also subs in the Business & Professional league.    Good Luck this season Gordon!!

Zevnik is on a Roll!

Larry Zevnik, on 8/8/11, during the Monday Miller Lite Trio league, bowled a 300 game and a 737 series.   Larry was not finished yet….On the first night of the 2011-2012 season (9/6/11), during the Business & Professional League at Mardi Gras Lanes, Larry bowled an impressive 300, 239, and a 279 for an 818 series. This was the first 800 series thrown in the DeKalb Area USBC Association for the 2011-2012 season. Larry obtained these sizzling scores with a Brunswick Fury ball.   DAUSBC would like to congratulate Larry and wish Larry continued success during this bowling season.
